FIBRE GEAR REPLACEMENTS
Before fitting a replacement fibre gear, ensure that the cause of the failure has been identified and the necessary correction action taken. The work should be carried out by a suitably qualified engineer or competent person. It is imperative that the gearbox be drained of oil and thoroughly cleaned out and replaced with new oil (piece of sheared gear running between the gears will cause them to shear again.)
